Gavron was completely suprised by this sudden turn of events.
He saw the halfbreed as she vicously bombarded the trees apart for no apparent reason. He needed extreme focusing to get out of the mess there without mortal injuries. He had to waste several bullets, and more pressingly, holy wards and a whole bottle of holy water just to attempt to neutralize the half-demon girl, and as he crossed blades with her, he put much of his fencing experience into practice just to match her superhuman strength and dexterity.
And now she was about to get tickled to death by a monkey who he could carry on the palm of his hand.
This was a bit much for his nerve system.
Gavron put his pistol aside, only to bury his face into his hand, muttering swears one after another in several different languages.
In any case, Emillia's attempts to remove the monkey were largely unsuccessful. She was quite agile and quick, crawling to beneath her clothing, tickling and climbing her way through 'till she popped out from beneath Emillia's shirt at the neck part, now softly tickling her neck.
"Te-he-he ! Me-can-speak ! And-tickle-tickle-tickle !" - she commented.
As soon as Gavron felt his sanity remotely returning to him, he put his blade to Emillia's chest. He could strike her down any moment now if he wanted...
"Let's make a deal." - he grunted. - "You try to behave and I'll let you can have the monkey for today only." - the inquisitor proposed. - "I just wanna' get out of this God-forsaken forest. Know any way out ?" - he asked, hoping Emillia would be cooperative.

The monkey continued to make her laugh a little too much. As she felt his rapier against her chest, she used a claw to nudge it away through laughter. She wasn't planning on getting stabbed. She's been punched through her chest, stomach, and thrown far too many times, she does NOT want that thing near her while she's about to fall over from laughter. She shook her head to Gavron's question while laughing "Got lost, thought I'd blow it up." She giggled, her eyes were now amber with a slight pink tint. Awww, Tila embarrassed her by tickling her. She tried pushing the monkey's little hands from her with her own "I'd tell you if I could, but my friend took the map with him." Yeah, Haji had the map, but he accidentally forgot to give it to her. You would think she'd figure it out by now, that it was Tila and Gavron, but so many faces working at an inn, you easily forget them. Even if one of the human ones has a monkey with him most of the time. "How would you know that I wouldn't steal her, or she couldn't find her way back to you once today's over?" She asked as she played a little with Tila's hands as she tried to tickle her still. "If you try to behave I'll behave, if I get to blow stuff up." Emillia grinned to Gavron, she obviously was in a mood to blow stuff up until she finds a way out of the forest. The ghouls were really starting to aggravate her. Emillia stuck her keyblades on her back so they were crossed, on leather straps that held them in place, and she tugged out her gun, pulling the coin off of it and holding the gun out, limply. "If you behave and don't think I will, you can hold onto this." She said then her grip tightened a little on the gun, "Don't take it though, it'll take me forever to get a new one." It did take her quite some time and frustration to make the dual-barreled gun, just learning how it worked took a long time. She was in no mood to do that again. Gavron reluctantly put his sword away. Suddenly memories swarmed his mind.
"Oh, I know you ain't going to keep Tila all for yourself... Emillia."
Why yes. Emillia. Gavron knew this troublesome brat for some time by now. He didn't wonder much about how she got here, but rather how he himself could forget about this unique acquaitance of his, especially since every occasion he visited her village, something always happened to make sure he can't get a good night's sleep. He had a hypothesis that Emillia's village would be a perfect training ground for novice inquisitors, but he never tried that out in practice yet.
"And keep your gun. I see you made nice improvements on it since I re-forged it last time." - he remembered. Once he blew it to bits, but Emillia asked him to repair it. Why he agreed, he does not know even today. But it paid off when her village was molested by a band of demons. They got what they deserved.
"How did you end up here anyway ? I for one am on a mission to eliminate some strong demon terrorizing villages, but I got a mistaken map and got lost. We should try finding a way out together. Feel free to blow everything up beside me and Tila in the meantime."

Emillia pouted slightly. "So you tried hurting me even though you knew it was me?!" She exclaimed and glared at Gavron, "Stupid pervert was trying to get close to me, blech" She crossed her arms, but couldn't stop herself from grinning. Gavron, a pervert? Ha. "Some old lady died so I had to bury her" She said and rolled her eyes, "Remember Haji? Yeah. He smells like some dead old lady. He took the map with him when he left." She hated the smell of death and blood, it made her sneeze. Haji figured that, and left when she told him too, taking the map that smelled of death with him. She twitched her nose with the memory of the smell. Emillia grinned when he told her she could blow stuff up, and threw the coin she still had in her palm, blowing up yet another tree just to prove a point. That point? The point that she would clearly enjoy blowing up everything other than Gavron and Tila. "Then let's go find those demons!" Obviously, she was in no rush to return to work and have to change out of her black clothes to a maid's outfit. It made her feel all girly. Made. Maid. I 'maid' a funny. Emillia then ran past Gavron, picking up the coin and tossing it again, chasing after it once again. She grabbed it, then ran back to Gavron, Oh yeah, did you see a tiger... fox.... demon.... somewhere? He has black hair, yellow tips? Seven tails? You know him?" It always seemed like Emillia was looking for somebody at some point in her hundred year old life. It appeared that she was rather hyper. She threw the coin again. Soon enough, there was a clearing around Gavron. Next to it, a bunch of fire. Emillia giggled with her destructive habits. "The fire and smoke disturbed my simple human eyes, plus I put much effort into trying to forget I ever met you, so I didn't recognise you first." - Gavron tried to excuse himself - "And you ? I bet you knew in the first second it was me yet you intentionally aimed towards me. So throw your pretended victimhood aside, it does not fit you."
Gavron sighted deeply. Just f*ing great. He's stuck in the middle of nowhere with the greatest and most random troublemaker he ever met in his life. Not that his life would be as long as Emillia's, but still.
"And no, I haven't met that striped demon of yours anywhere. But..."
An idea struck his mind.
"...that description is similar to that of the demon I seek !" - he realized. - "Is it stalking around this forest or what ?! If yes, this may not be such a bad day after all...!" - he thought.
"Emillia... hey, puppy ! Quit practicing your mass destructive habits for a second and try to help me out here ! That demon you just mentioned... do you have a guess to where it could be ?"

Emillia shook her head. Nope, nothing. She didn't know where he could be. "I've been loking for him for the past... uh... about two years now." She thought for a minute. Yeah, two winters have passed, should be about right. "He knew my mom" She placed a clawed finger n her cheek thoughtfully "He's my guardian, met him about two and a half years ago, weird, huh?" She laughed a little. He was, actually, her guardian, and he knew about who she was too, but he had turned evil due to a lord of darkness who had... ahem... cat napped him. "How come, somebody you might know?" She asked, twitching her ears slightly, still with her finger on her cheek in a thoughtful manner. Rai knowing him? That'd be weird. If he did know him though, man, she was in luck. After such a long time, she might actually find him! Then she'd force him to spill the beans about who her mom was. Rai, before, was a rather peaceful person. He was quiet, serious, kind, and Emillia liked calling him an oldie too. He didn't look it, because he appeared to be in his early twenties, or late teens, but he was actually about seven hundred years old. Man, if they found him, she'd have two people to call oldie. "He's usually in his demon form though... Black panther with seven tails, but... tiger sized?" She sounded rather confused. She had confused herself. She mumbled a little, tossing the coin not to far away by accident, and making her jump as the dirt flew. "Oops." She grinned innocently to Gavron, even though it was obvious that she wasn't. Gavron could hardly resist to 'facepalm' himself again. "Great, this just keeps getting better and better" - he muttered. - "I don't know this demon-panther-whatever friend of yours, but if you happen to meet him before I do, tell him it's better if things stay that way because I have orders to kill him." Whoopsie. So much about having two 'oldies' around herself. "You know what, puppy ? Let's just go walk around, hopefully we'll find a way out if we keep walking in one direction." - he said in an annoyed tone of voice while he thought of his recurring phrase: " God, what crime have I committed that you punish me like this ?!" (OOC: I know, short post... but it was 'bout time you started throwing in random encounters and NPCs if you ask me... )

Emillia growled and glared at Gavron, now that just pissed her off. Enough so that her eyes went blood red. She tugged out her gun and walked past him, shooting at his foot as she did so and sliding the gun back in her belt. She was aiming to hit him, too. She didn't care if he was being nice to her or not, but mess with one of her friends and you'll get bitten by one angry puppy. Especially Rai.
Emillia continued walking straight, not paying attention to whether or not it hit Gavron, not even looking at him. He pissed her off completely. She stopped walking a good distance away "Why don't you go after the man who's controlling him?" It wasn't really a question judging on her tone of voice, which was generally pissed off.
One of Emillia's ears twitched and she looked to the left in front of her. A rustle of leaves, a very light sound. It wasn't a big thing, that's for sure. She sniffed the air a little, tilting her head. She then decided to go look in the bush that had appeared to move just a little after she had sniffed, digging through the leaves to try to find what was there. Emillia aimed somewhat lousily (or maybe subconsciously she didn't want to hurt Gavron so much), since the bullet did not hit Gavron's leg, but bruised off a part of his left boot. Caught off-guard, the inquisitor tripped, hitting his nose against a pebble as he fell.
Murmuring some curses, he stood up and cleared his coat from dirt and leaves.
"Well, why didn't you say he was controlled in the first place ?" - he grunted at Emillia. - "I can't read minds you know, as suprising as it may sound."
At that point he too noticed the rustling leaves.
"Now what ?!" - he thought angrily as he unsheathed his sword again.
"Tila, get to cover." - he commanded.
"But-me-like-it-here..." - the little monkey demon replied as she clung on Emillia's neck.
"No excuses. God knows what this forest holds for us. Could be dangerous."
Tilareluctantly nodded, jumping off and hiding behind a tree stump.
"Emillia, what do you suspect it is ?" - Gavron inquired.

Emillia didn't answer Gavron, but instead pulled out a black rabbit with a white speck on it's cheek. It seemed rather calm, and Emillia stuck the bunny on her head. It seemed content, as it was chirping quite a bit. Emillia looked as if she were thinking. "What are you doing here?" She asked, and it appeared that the bunny could actually... wait, was it talking?!
"I was watching you explode stuff!" It responded cheerfully, chirping once again. "You know you shouldn't do that, you're going to get hurt." No answer came from the bunny, but Emillia turned back to Gavron. "This thing isn't too harmless, it's name is Precious" Emillia rolled her eyes, "It's one of my friend's pets. It can't transform or do any magic, but she's really smart." She added, placing a finger on her cheek.
The rabbit started wiggling and she was placed back on the ground by Emillia, she hopped over to Gavron, lifting herself on her hind feet and holding out one of her front paws "It's a pleasure to meet you" She had spoke with a graceful feminine voice that was calm. Emillia still looked like she was thinking. If you had ever met Bushimo, you would have been surprised by knowing that the rabbit was indeed his pet. He didn't know she could talk though.
"Precious, have you seen Rai anywhere?" Precious looked back to Emillia. "You still can't find him Ma'am?" Emillia shook her head, "Well, the best place you can look is his owner's place." Emillia seemed disgruntled by that. "Oh, don't get so upset, you're just going to have a cold." Emillia seemed rather angry. You see, she had gone to the place where his 'owner' was, but she had almost died there, and it smelled of death, blood, and darkness. Those things usually gave her a cold. She didn't get them often, but she did if there was too much death in the air.
Now, that just was odd. A talking rabbit, a rather pissy Emillia, and a monkey on her shoulder who had just climbed up her clothes. That was... strange, putting things all together like that.
"By my judgement, you are Gavron, otherwise known as oldie in Emillia and Bushimo's thoughts, and you are Tila" The bunny already knew all about them from Bushimo and Emillia's talk.
It was a wonder that the rabbit wasn't torn to bits and it's ears weren't one of Bushimo's prized possessions. Words- 405 Music- Seven Deadly Sins by Flogging MollyThoughts- Heheh, Precious :3 Post Template Created By- Roxy

"Me-greet-you, Precious. Nice-to-know-you !" - Tila introduced herself. "I'm starting to feel more and more like I'm in the middle of a wild park." - Gavron muttered. - "Dogs, monkeys and rabbits. What next, wereducks and talking wolves ?" He let out a sigh. - "My apologies for my rude manner, Ms. Precious." - Gavron tried to make up for his previous statement. He felt stupid for speaking with a rabbit, but it seemed more reasonable than Emillia, so he had to give a try negotiating with her. - "Me and my companion Tila got lost in this forest due to a mistaken map. I'd be delighted if you could show the way out. Secondly, I happen to be looking for exactly the same person Emillia is searching." This was a spark of hope for Emillia; oldie or no oldie, Gavron is a good fighter. With him and Tila by her side, she could might free Rai of control ! Which was exactly what Gavron thought. If the demon he seeks is mind-controlled, he has just to kill the puppeteer and then pretend his prey ran off afterwards... (OOC: really, why not ? )

Precious twitched her pink nose, "It is alright sir, and a pleasure to meet the both of you" She spoke with much more grace than Emillia, who had a rather boyish attitude and messy way of talking. "You'll just be following me now, you will be out." That was a little messed up, but hey, she's a rabbit!
Precious started hopping away, going to the direction she had come from. Emillia ran and grabbed her coin once again, then ran after the rabbit "C'mon or she'll get away!" She said, and caught up, walking just behind her. Once Gavron caught up as well, Precious began speaking once more.
"I am guessing that you didn't know that Emillia knows where he is" Emillia growled slightly, "Calm down princess, I know that place moves around and is invisible and all that" Emillia laid her ears flat on her head and looked like a dog who was generally disgusted. Precious continued, "Well, I guess I might as well explain to you about this man and his palace."
"The man who is controlling Rai is a lord of darkness and poison, having claws that are about one foot in length that hold a poison in them, turning them a red colour. You must not get hit with these. Emillia, here, was hit with them and almost died, so a human should not get scratched unless he wants his flesh torn away." She explained and Emillia growled again. She obviously didn't like the fact that the rabbit and 'made fun' of her for almost dying. "This man has a collar on Rai that you must take off to break the spell, or else he will try to kill Emillia once again." Emillia mumbled something, "Yes, both this man and her guardian tried killing her. Luckily Rai had a change of heart, endured the pain of the collar, and got her out of there, get her fixed up. This palace floats, and is invisible. There's no way to actually tell if it here or there, but it floats low, so avalanches get started due to it's bad controls. Well, I'm sure that Emillia and Tila will have an easy enough time finding it, as it does give Emillia colds with how strong it smells." Emillia sneezed, Precious jumped a little out of surprise and stopped hopping for a moment, but continued "I guess that is all I have to say." Emillia's ears were still back as she crossed her arms.

Gavron felt quite relieved that he could at last get out of this damnable forest, however this unexpected turn of events puzzled him. His mind processed the information like an engine of logic, trying to figure out tactics and probable approach.
"Just when I thought I'm out of this pile of crap, I stepped into an even bigger one." - he thought angrily. - "Invisible floating palace. Who could build such nonsesne ?! Next time I'll be seeing non-Eucledian architecture or something similarly twisted. Hopefully I'll have artillery batteries to blow it the f* up if it comes to that."
"Well." - he voiced his opinion - "Since the report I was given states that this... 'Rai' rampaged on ground level, that castle or whatever can't be that far. Should we face Rai and his puppeteer, darkness and lightning are of little issue to me. With my anti-demon magics I'll probably be able to neutralize the magic collar's power long enough for it to be removed. Poison on the other hand is troublesome. My holy water can counter it to some degree but it's not a real antidote..." - he analyzed the possibilities.
Tila leaned her head to the left and scrathed her chin. - "If-we-find-it, how-we-get-up-there ?" - she asked.
"Yes. That's another fair question." - Gavron nodded, murmuring.
Then they heard Emillia sneeze.
Gavron roused an eyebrow, and annoyed, he grimaced. - "Emillia, please reassure me that this sneeze was just a side-effect of all the smoke you breathed in due to the fires you caused."

Emillia shrugged and stuck her hands behind her head, "The thought of the stench makes me sneeze a few times, if we go near enough to it I'll get a headache." She looked over to Gavron while walking, "You two do realize that you have a rather powerful mutt on your side who is used to jumping around with people on her head, right?" The head part was a joke, but she was pretty used to carrying some people around. It didn't hurt her or anything, "So, if you want to get to Jigoku, you better be nice to me." She grinned to him before looking back to the bunny who was leading them out.
Finally the smell of fresh air, not surrounded by this musty forest smell, Emillia took a large breath in, "Thanks Precious." She said, then began walking backwards. "There isn't a 'cure' for this poison, I tried all that holy shit." Harsh, "It gave me a scar on my back." That was a little rare for Emillia, seeing as she has had things go straight through her without gaining a single scar. "It literally rots your flesh. It hurts. A lot." Damn right it did.
"Well then, miss, mutt, and sir, I do believe that my time is done." Precious spoke a little too soon before Emillia picked her up by the nape of her neck, turning her to look at her and she glared at the black bunny, who was now curled up in a ball. "Or... not..." What was that all about Emillia?
Truth was, she didn't want the bunny to get hurt. The rabbit was generally a special thing, seeing as she was intelligent and could even talk, yet she wasn't a demon. She brought joy to Bushimo, and to the other orphans, so she better not die because Emillia let her run away. "You aren't getting away that fast." Emillia sounded rather angry, and Precious looked rather scared and nodded before being placed back on the ground.
Emillia sneezed again and sniffled, scratching her nose lightly with her claw. "Oh, I think you better be warned, Jigoku is... uh..." She tilted her head while scratching her nose, "Um... Precious, say it for me!" She didn't know the word she wanted.
"Very sexual to young girls?"
Emillia nodded "That works, good bunny." She stated and pet Precious on her head, "So if he flirts with me and I don't attack him, don't attack him, I already have a plan." Emillia has a plan? What the hell? Yes, she had a plan. Catching him off guard sounded fun. Hopefully she wouldn't get cut in the process.

"So we're going to jump aboard ?" - Gavron took the idea into consideration, and didn't like it too much. Sure, he once 'rode' on the back of a wolf demon girl called Kumiko, but she was a mature specimen and of impressive physical potential. The same was not true for Emillia. But it didn't seem like they had a lot of choice in the matter.
"About the 'holy shit' as you named it" - the inquisitor preached - "I think you forgot an important detail: you are half-demon. Holy water is for humans only." - he explained.
He and Tila were glad to be out of the forest, but nonetheless disturbed and somewhat anxious of the possible battles ahead of them. Gavron couldn't think of a reason why Emillia would try to drag Precious into the middle of the incoming storm, but he kept his opinion to himself.
Still, he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow upon hearing Jigoku's sexual preference.
Tila tilted her head. - "What-does-'sexual' mean ?" - she asked with innocent confusion displayed over her face.
"I'll tell you when you're older." - Gavron answered. - "But if what Precious said is true you could team up with her. Double charm, double chance to f* this demon's s* up." - Gavron tried to hide his surprise about Emillia's plan with this crude joke, but on second thought he weighted the possibilities.
Emillia saw Tila in her human form before, and undeniably, she was cute in that form... but Gavron swiftly tried to dispose of the thought from his head. He wouldn't risk losing her... nor Emillia. But for now there wasn't a much better strategy in mind.
