"Didn't get mentioned that I was in human mode for the week, huh?" Emillia said as she walked. Yeah, her human 'night' was odd. She didn't have it once a month, she had it for a whole week. Rai told her she looked too much like her mother when she was in that form, and that must have been why he had switched back to his normal self for a while to protect her from Jigoku. It was odd what appearances could do to some people.
"You aren't that weak in that week Emillia." Precious stated, and Emillia grumbled. Emillia wasn't that weak for a human girl her size during that week, because even though her appearance was small, she was stronger than she looked. She couldn't fight off a demon though.
In Emillia's human form, she appeared almost like a porcelain doll. She had maroon eyes and slightly wavy, raven black hair that was as long as it usually was. She had a softer expression, and was definitely not violent. Her personality seemed to change slightly with the change that occurred once a winter, but that was just because she found that it caused people to want to attack her less.
"Anywho, it would have worked on me, I was human at the time." She slightly snarled at the thought, "Disgusting time, that was." That was also when the palace that Jigoku had lived in was on the ground. He had caused to to move around because he couldn't part from it, and that he wanted to hide it from Emillia and anybody else who wanted to take his slave.
Emillia laughed slightly as Tila asked her question, "It's what I use to get tips." She laughed more, because now that she had become slightly older she was being told to flirt with the male customers to get more money. It was... disgusting, but it worked. Let her get her new outfit at least. "Soooo, where should we look next oldie?" She asked as they reached the area just outside the forest, a clear field. At least, it had a few rocks here and there, and a tree too, but there was just the distant howling of ghouls to remind them of where they were just at.
Emillia picked Precious back up, who had been hopping around her feet trying to get something to do, and stuck the bunny on Gavron's head. The bunny looked rather perplexed, but Emillia laughed slightly "You better take a bath Gavron, Precious doesn't like dirty old men." Precious rolled her eyes and started to try to carefully make her way down off of Gavron.

"So let me get this straight." - Gavron said - "You tried to fight a pure-blooded demon lord in his own floating palace while he was mind-controlling your lightning-master friend, while you were in your weakest state." - he summed it up. - "Emillia, at first I considered your suggestion due to tactical possibilities, but taking all conditions into consideration I say if you claim to have a plan, just keep it to yourself because it probably doesn't make any damn sense. Just leave planning to me. Okay ?"
Gavron recalled encountering Emillia in her human form on one occasion. He knew Emillia was by no means a pushover even then, but nevertheless challenging a demon lord like this was indeed plain stupid on her part.
But Gavron switched focus on another aspect of the mission. If the palace is invisible, how are they going to find it ? He thought of his mission description...
Lightning demon harassing villages. Seems to be doing a systematical destruction. Reasons unknown.
"Hm... that 'Rai' was reported to be on ground level." - he thought. "And if we find him, his owner's place shouldn't be far either. If we roughly locate it, I can briefly break the invisibility, then we get up and proceed to solve the source of our mutual problems with extreme displays of violence."
However, he couldn't help but wonder why Emillia would put the poor talking bunny on his head. Though he had to admit that he hasn't taken a bath since two weeks. He grunted at Emillia:
"I don't know why you insist on mocking everyone in your vicinity, puppy, but this is where I draw the line." - he said, took Precious into his hand and carefully put her to the ground. - "In any case, we may have a lead. Rai was reported to be on ground level, devastating villages in this region. If we follow the trail, we may find him. If we find him, we find the palace. If we find the palace, we f* it up. Clear enough ?"

Emillia glared at him, "I didn't challenge him, he quite likes himself a human girl in the middle of nowhere wearing a slutty maid outfit." She crossed her arms and looked at her pants, "He stole my old uniform too!" That was true. He likes the idea of helpless human girls in bandages. How... disgusting. "It does makes sense since I've been there before and know where the guards are!" She stuck her tongue out at the fairly dirty Gavron, "Doesn't help that I'm the only way into there, and your nose." She poked her nose and continued walking, stopping when she heard Precious speak.
"We're going to the East."
She sounded pretty serious. Emillia grumbled slightly and kicked a rock before continuing. She didn't like the idea of moving again, she was feeling slightly lazy. She twitched her nose and sneezed, "I stink of a old dead lady." That was irrelevant, but then she started fiddling with a black and white bracelet around her wrist, made of wooden beads and a black chain. She bit it hard after a minute of fiddling and jumped a little. It shocked her. Idiot. "Rai's somewhere over there." She crossed her arms and sucked on her bleeding gums.
The bracelet she had just bit was a spiritual one that bound Rai and her. When she bit it, it made her tired and aching, but it allowed her for just a second to get into Rai's mind. Rai had the power of weak telekenesis and strong telepathy, and the bracelet for just a second let her borrow his power for a price. She rubbed a finger on her cut and burned gums, whimpering slightly, and Precious jumped o her foot, "You know where he is?" Emillia shrugged, he was walking in some long grassed field, in the middle of a forest, she had no idea where.
"If we see him, you better not hurt him, or you're going to get turned to ashes." Emillia growled in Gavron's direction, "He's really nice, but he's being controlled, and he's pretty weak too." Other than a few of his attacks, he really was weak, "And if his eyes glow blue, run." Emillia headed off into the direction the Rai had been going, rubbing a burned spot on her arm. "If his claws get all shocky and stuff, yell. He'll melt your brains." Emillia put a finger on her chin, "And if he's in his humany form thingy, and he put his sword up, you're going to die." She laughed a little, "But after we kill the poison guy he'll be saying sorry, a lot."
Rai was a rather nervous demon, and he was awfully quiet and serious. He didn't like upsetting people unless they hurt Emillia, and he really didn't like hurting Emillia. He revolved practically his whole life around Emillia and her mother, he didn't really know what had drawn him to her mother in the first place though. His parents were both killed, and he needed a place to stay. He found that Emillia's mother was so kind and generous to him that he had agreed to be her soon to be born daughter's guardian, and he was drawn to be more than her guardian and more like a brotherly figure. This was pretty much why Emillia was being so protective of him.

"Look Emillia, please spare the last ounces of my sanity from your stupidity. With every detail you add, your story sounds all the more retarded." - Gavron buried his face into his left palm.
Tila perceived with interest what Emillia was doing with her bracelet. When she got 'shocked', so did she jump a little in worry.
"Emillia ! You-okay ?"
She apparently was. Gavron listened to her advices afterwards about Rai. Gavron had a great affinity with fire, but lightning was not so much his speciality. Sure, he could harness its essence to a degree, but he was no master of its usage. That, of course, did not discourage him. Emillia's warnings seemed far-fetched; she had a tendency to underestimate humans.
Nevertheless, to maximalise effectiveness, he knew that he should probably let Emillia fight Rai, while he readies some dispelling magic to remove the mind-control effect, or at least weaken it. But he was unsure whether Emillia would be willing to fight at her full potantial against Rai if need would arise. Then again, Emillia was crazy when it came to fighting...
"Emillia, I will be honest." - Gavron declared. - "I don't make promises I can't keep. I see that this... 'Rai' person means much to you, and I'll try my best to spare him of as much pain as possible. But if I have absolutely no other chance, I'll eliminate him. Period. Now, if that magic trinket of yours has given you a clue where to search, please indulge me."
Tila crept closer to Emillia, trying to reassure her:
"Do-not-take-master-seriously. You-know-he-will-try-his-best."
Gavron was still thinking about how to counter lighting attacks. He didn't fear lighting all that much since he was struck by random lightning bolts on several occasions, particularly when he behaved in a very antisocial manner. Whether this actually hinted divine intervention or was plainly coincidence, none could tell. In any case, Gavron got used to occasional shocks. Still, he'd have to utilize some potent spells in order to protect himself...
As soon as he thought it over, he crossed his arms and waited for Emillia's response.

Emillia growled at him. She wasn't being stupid, her plan was not stupid, he better not call her stupid again, that might not work out in his favor. "If we run into him, just stay out of the way." Obviously it was to protect both him and Rai, because she knew that he would only hold back if he didn't have to fight, and Rai wasn't able to control himself.
Yeah, Emillia did tend to underestimate humans, but compared to her they were like ants. Weak but alright when it comes to helping out. A bunch of them could be strong, but she'd usually be stronger. She pretty much has a reason for thinking of humans the way she does, she grew up strong like she was, and she was always a half demon, so she always knew humans as weaker than herself.
"Fine by me Tila!" Emillia grinned. Obviously, she had put a slight leash on her anger problems from before. Just a long one though. A really weak one too. She could always tie it back together if it broke though. "You gotta figure out that I'm stronger than you against him though Gavron" Even if he thought she was weaker than him, she did have a point, "I know his weaknesses too!" Actually, she didn't. Rai had always kept a seal on his weaknesses from her.
